Finance Administration Manager
Our client is seeking a Finance Administration Manager to join their city centre team, finance skills are the primary requirement, with excellent administrative and organisational skills. This role is to provide support & have a broader awareness across the business as a whole, and to enhance existing finance processes, implementing new ways of working where appropriate. The reason for the hire is to improve the way the business runs, to take charge of the existing processes in finance and improve them, streamline them, and to improve the way admin around large projects is managed, to ensure all relevant detail is captured and adhered to, and that any adjustments mid-project are logged and billed. This role will reach into all departments of the business, so that the work flows better, and the finances flow alongside that.
This is an exciting time to join this growing Architecture firm, as a team of 20 they are planning to establish a new office in Madrid and a Southern office too.
A background in architecture or construction would be an advantage in this role.
This role will see you work closely and collaborate with the Operations Manager who has been working to automate a lot of the processes to ensure prompt invoicing. The Director is currently managing the Finance function, and this hire is to relieve her of this, so you will have her support during the transition. This role welcomes suggestions and will involve setting up and implementing new systems and processes to make effective change and more streamlined process. A key aspect of this role is client communication, you will be liaising with clients and their finance departments, so being a strong communicator and relationship builder is vital for this position. Proven experience in a Finance Manager role is essential, as well as excellent credit control skills. Experience using Free Agent would be an advantage for this role, but is not essential.
Salary & Benefits for Finance Administration Manager
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours) or Part time (22.5 hours)
Holidays: 20 days’ holiday to new recruits, with an additional day for each year of service up to a maximum of 25 days (plus statutory bank holidays)
