The ideal type of person for this role:
The Receptionist role will involve, but is not limited to:
Greeting clients upon arrival, and either dealing with them right away, or, if busy with a client at the time, asking the newly arriving client to take a seat and assuring them that you will be with them as soon as possible
Dealing with enquiries and providing information to clients regarding the range of products and services (training will of course be given, as well as learning on the job as you go)
Booking new appointments and rebooking clients in for follow up appointments whilst at Reception
Making follow up phone calls to clients following their treatment to ensure satisfaction and re-book them where appropriate
Make pre appointment confirmation calls to clients to remind them of appointment and confirm treatment and prices
Recognising the importance of keeping both the patient management system & the lead management system updated.
1 hour unpaid lunch
This business also runs a monthly promotion day which is a long day that you will be required to work 7am to 7pm, you will be paid for the additional hours that you work, and there is a bonus scheme related to this event.
You also get free breakfast, lunch etc on that day as it is well catered.
Experience required for the Receptionist role:
Ideally, at least 2 years reception experience gained in a professional environment or engaging with High Net Worth clients
Experience of updating information into databases/systems
Dental reception experience would be an advantage but is not essential
Salary for Receptionist role
£11 an hour

Points to note: Should you be offered an interview with the client for this role, and be success at that interview, you are then likely to be invited back to spend a few hours at the dental practice on Reception to observe what goes on, to allow you to get a feel for what the role involves.
You will be joining a team of two current Receptionists. Booking of holidays must be in line with other Receptionist’s availability – 2 of the 3 Receptionists cannot have time off at the same time to maintain cover at all times.
